License Compliance & Attribution Notes
Open Database License (ODbL 1.0)
Telemetry trace histories and airport database integrations utilizing adsb.lol data and OpenFlights are licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL). In compliance with ODbL requirements, our derived database structures are documented openly. Raw individual transponder trace streams are not redistributed.
Public Domain & Open Government Works
Aircraft registry records from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transport Canada (CCAR), UK Civil Aviation Authority (G-INFO), and US Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) are incorporated under applicable Open Government licenses and US public domain exemptions.
NOAA Aviation Weather Center (AWC) Live Feeds
Real-time airport METAR observations and terminal weather metrics are retrieved live via the NOAA Aviation Weather Center public API. Weather data is produced by the US National Weather Service and provided without copyright restrictions.
ICAO Aircraft Engine Emissions Databank (EEDB)
Turbofan fuel flow, overall pressure ratios, and certified LTO cycle exhaust emissions (NOx, CO, smoke numbers) are sourced from the ICAO Engine Emissions Databank hosted by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
